Calling All Class of 2026 Seniors – Let’s Make This YOUR Moment

Hey there, Class of 2026! 🎓
Fall is right around the corner here in beautiful Louisville, Colorado, and it’s one of my absolute favorite times of year to photograph seniors. The golden light, the crisp air, the stunning foliage — it’s basically a dream backdrop waiting for your personality to shine.

If you're a Monarch High School senior (or from anywhere around Boulder County), now is the perfect time to lock in your session with Caroline Colvin Photography — I still have a few fall 2025 dates left, and I’d love to celebrate you.

🍁 Why Fall Is So Magical for Senior Portraits

Fall in Colorado? Say no more. Here's why it's one of the most popular (and beautiful) times for senior portraits:

  • Golden Hour is Glorious: The sunlight in the fall is softer, warmer, and more flattering. We typically shoot around 1.5 hours before sunset to catch those dreamy glowy tones.

  • The Leaves, Obviously: October and early November give us golden aspens, fiery reds, and crunchy leaves—perfect for natural, outdoor portraits.

  • Cooler Temps = Happier Humans: Let's be honest, no one wants to sweat in a sweater. Fall temps are comfy and great for layering cute outfits.

📅 Best Time to Book (Hint: Now)

The best fall colors usually show up between late September and early October.
If you're thinking about booking, now is the time — those weekend dates go fast!

Don’t wait until yearbook deadlines are looming — lock in your session and we’ll plan something that feels so you.

👗 What to Wear for Fall Senior Sessions

Choosing outfits is one of the most fun (and most important!) parts of planning your senior session. Here are a few style tips to help you feel confident and look your best:

1. Think Layers

Light jackets, cozy cardigans, and shackets photograph beautifully and add movement to your photos.

2. Stick with Earthy or Jewel Tones

Colors like rust, mustard, forest green, burgundy, navy, and cream look amazing against Colorado's fall landscapes.

3. Bring Options

I always recommend bringing 2–3 outfit changes. Think: one casual look, one slightly dressy, and one that really expresses your personality (yes, that means bring the Doc Martens, football jersey, or vintage denim you love!).

4. Be You

This session is all about celebrating YOU. Whether you're laid-back, sporty, artsy, or outdoorsy — let's show that off! My goal as your senior photographer is to make you feel totally comfortable so your personality shines through.
