A year ago Jake Stein Greenberg and I met on a Global Works – International Community Service trip to Costa Rica that I was photographing and he was leading. During that trip I learned that he and fiance, Lauren Mandel, were planning a wedding! Fast forward a year and I had the fortunate opportunity to document that wedding. I loved getting to know these two through the wedding planning process. Lauren Mandel is a landscape architect and had a vision for her wedding day that included natural backdrops and splendid florals. That vision resulted in table center pieces that awed guests and a ceremony backdrop that represented their love for nature and the environment. Every detail of this wedding was well thought out and created with love. The Ketubah was designed by Lauren’s talented mother and the huppah was adorned with flowers and lace by Lauren and Jake. Last but not least, Lauren’s stunning dress was made by a friend! A beautiful day at Tyler Arboretum for a couple that is so loved by their friends and family. It was a joy to be part of your day, Jake and Lauren.
